east boston social centers is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit multi-service agency that has served the children, families, senior citizens and community of east boston since it’s founding in 1918. at the core of the social centers is a commitment to meeting the needs of the east boston community by providing high-quality services and support that empower this culturally diverse group of people to lead successful lives. the social centers’ four early learning centers provide childcare to 145 children, ages 2 months to 6 years. these centers offer high quality childcare and are licensed by the dept. of early education and care (eec) and accredited by the national association of educators of young children (naeyc). the school age childcare program provides high quality and affordable after-school care to 150 children, ages 5 to 14 during the school year and approximately 300 children for playschool day camp during the summer months. the school age child care program is licensed through eec and w
