east coast anglican parish is in the tairawhiti district on the east coast of the north island, aotearoa new zealand. it's an area of wild open coastline and rugged hills, where maori and pakeha live out a rich dual heritage and shared future. we work alongside our tikanga maori anglican partners in ngati porou and turanga-whangara rohe to provide a friendly, caring ministries and community development opportunities in townships and remote rural areas north of gisborne. east coast anglican parish is keen to see strong vibrant communites, particularly in those isolated areas where there have been extensive changes in farming practices, land use and ownership in the past three decades. we collaborate with iwi providers and other organisations to build community cohesion and capacity, with a particular focus on early childhood education with the support of waiapu anglican social services. location: st andrew's church 29, solander street, tolaga bay 4077 new zealand google maps: http://bit
