on average, 3 out of every 100 high school basketball players get the opportunity to play in college*. what will the other 97 athletes do to continue pursuing their love for basketball? the east coast basketball league (ecbl) is all about giving hundreds of college students the opportunity of continuing to play organized basketball in a highly competitive environment. our philosophy stands on unselfish teamwork - all of our individual clubs working together for the common good of the whole. whether it is scheduling tournaments and games, giving fundraising tips or having good sportsmanship, we are always stronger together than apart. we hope to give many willing and responsible clubs the chance to work together and get to play as many games as possible. and why do we do it? not for money, fame, or glory – just for the love of the game. *ncaa.org
