East Grinstead Museum

the museum services the people who live in the town and surrounding area and the large number of tourists who visit each year. we have a temporary exhibition area with exhibitions that change three times a year. the interesting and varied permanent displays explore the history of east grinstead and its surrounding villages. artefacts, emphemera, memorabilia and images are interspersed with touch screen inter-actives and a specially edited film that brings the past alive. the museum also benefits from a dedicated 'hands on' area, the curator's corner, for younger visitors and a dedicated room for researching local history and geneology.
