we are the research school for east london. the foundations of our approach are trust and collaboration. our aim is to improve the life chances of children and young people in east london. the east london research school is a powerful collaboration between sheringham nursery, kaizen primary and little ilford secondary schools. we work with the ucl institute of education, the world's number one university for education. our aim is to improve the quality and impact of professional development and to ensure that it is based on research and evidence. our alliance has worked together with the ioe on the highly successful peer enquiry and learning programme (peal). we have the ioe gold quality mark for professional development. we have presented our research at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. we are proud of the academic credibility of our work, and also its practical application. we are making a real difference to the children and young people we work with.
