the east of england business group (eebg) is a company limited by guarantee; it provides a strong platform for a strategic alliance of the region’s major business membership associations. as the eebg the twelve associations work together to provide an informed, coherent collective voice of business on aspects of regional development and business competitiveness. the eebg operates in the counties of bedfordshire, cambridgeshire, essex, hertfordshire, norfolk and suffolk. it sets out to work robustly and effectively with key regional bodies to strengthen the economy and overall environment for businesses to establish and develop. representatives of the eebg's current twelve member organisations meet quarterly to consider a range of policy issues affecting the competitiveness of the region's business and overall economy. occasionally the group meets for a specific, one-off purpose, e.g. to meet a senior regional or national politician. outside these meetings, many of the group act as eebg
