someone has to tell them. children living in lancaster county should not spend their days wondering if anyone cares about them. so the pastors of hcob decided it was time to take the church to the streets--to meet people where they are, care for them and ultimately help them to forge a family strong enough to withstand the harshest storms. in our short history, the epfo has conducted two annual outbreak festivals, assisted families in crisis and provided transportation for needy schoolchildren. what’s next? with your help, we would like to: • establish a community center, which would house after-school programs, senior activities, youth programs and more • provide family management casework services • organize men’s and women’s groups • provide mentors for youth and young adults • expand the outbreak festiva • lead service projects in the community to assists seniors and needy families
