East Point Tech: Digital Lifestyle & Literacy Center

east point tech (or eptech) is a community-building social enterprise working to help vets, ex-offenders, and other lower income adults gain advanced, in-demand web development, app and game development, and associated design skills. our graduates are coached in building their professional portfolios and guided into sustainable employment or entrepreneurship leading to economic self-sufficiency. our goal is to build a pool of highly desirable talent for the tech- and startup-rich city of atlanta, and support the growth of a new hub of tech startups in the tri-cities area. starting with basic digital literacy and moving through advanced coding and design through a series of immersive courses, eptech provides an alternative to extended training programs and college enrollment for learners facing challenges to these traditional education models.
