east winds asia k.k. is a joint venture established on the 5th of january 2018 between the japanese companies “dujam desk” and “shibuta shipping”. together with our dutch partner “dhlc”, we have identified the challenges that lie within the inadequate port infrastructures of japan and its incapability of carrying offshore wind foundations. as a result, we have developed a method to transport and store offshore wind foundations in ports with limited space and ground bearing capacity which eliminates the need for additional infrastructural investments.
