East Bay Community Action Program

east bay community action program (ebcap) is a private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation that provides a comprehensive array of health, behavioral, and human services to the residents of rhode island’s east bay. ebcap merged with east bay center (ebc), a state recognized community mental health center (cmhc) and integrated health home. given that the two are recognized at the local, state, and national levels as premier providers, the transformation and merger into a single organization will greatly enhance the level of expertise and expand the breadth and depth of services that ebcap can offer to the communities it serves. ebc has been licensed by the department of behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and hospitals (bhddh) and has been nationally accredited by the joint commission. it is also certified by the department of children, youth and families/department of human services to provide outpatient services to children and their families. with this merger, ebcap receive
