East Bay Resistance

in june of 2020, east bay resistance was founded as a nonprofit organization in hayward, california. it was a small idea that sprouted into the community. we are now a regional organization working throughout the east bay in seven (7) active cities with eleven (11) partner organizations/community groups, and with sixty (60) members. at east bay resistance, we strive to be a grassroots community organization that will develop community power to dismantle systemic inequality and abuse. within support of that, we also are trying to improve the quality of life for black indigenous people of color (bipoc) and the lgbtq communities of the east bay by providing mutual aid, grassroots community organizing, community outreach, political education, and a community media outlet.
