the team is made up of dedicated and successful business owners who came together with one aim: improve eastbourne and leave a lasting legacy of change, community and sustainability. after 8 months the team have had their first round of proposals to the council granted and funding has begun. with the first of their business focused events in mid-september and their christmas plans being organised, the team are on course for a very exciting and successful first year; a great foundation to start innovating throughout 2013. eastbourne’s town team has a strong focus on improving the image of eastbourne, town’s independent retailers & its sense of innovation and community. it is important to the town team that eastbourne is made the best it can be, through shedding tired and ill-fitting stereotypes, to developing existing businesses and drawing in exciting new brands and innovative retail concepts. the best ideas come from people who live it each day, the residents who shop, moan, complimen
