Eastern Massachusetts Trauma Response/Boston Area TRN

the eastern massachusetts trauma response is an organization of volunteers and volunteer licensed mental health professionals dedicated to providing psychological response to communities impacted by high stress incidents. within our larger organization is the boston area trauma recovery network (affiliated with trauma recovery/emdr humanitarian assistance programs 501c3 network). our mission tasks include responding to emergencies (within eastern massachusetts or elsewhere by invitation), facilitating the training of mental health clinicians in emdr (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy and early emdr interventions (eei – suited to disaster response and recovery), and educating the public about psychological trauma and the benefit of treatment for individuals and communities in times of high stress incidents, as well as collaborating with other organizations in the world of emergency response. we are committed to anti-racism; we are dedicated to doing the tough syste
