Ebienale

ebienale (enescu bienale) is an art biennal organised by the george enescu international festival and competition held every two years in bucharest, romania. the festival brings the highest names of musical world together in a maraton of classical music. starting with 2011, the enescu festival launches the ebienale project, an art exhibition featuring young artists, some of them still involved in the educational system as students or professors. ebienale functions as a launching site for these emerging artists and creates a playground that allows them to meet artists who are already very active in the world's exhibition and curatorial projects scene. starting with the second edition ebienale offers young curators a chance to present their projects in a fully crowded environment, made of the festival's extended public. the visibility of the event assures a public counting over 5000 daily.
