ebony & ivory is a design company that was established in cairo, egypt in october 1997. at the early beginnings the company was mainly focused on designing interiors with a scope of work that covered both residential and contract spaces. throughout the years, due to ebony & ivory’s passion for design, creation and experimentation the company’s scope of work evolved into a broader range that currently includes furniture design, furniture production, interior architecture and general architectural project consultancy. since1997 the company had established partnerships with certain european furniture companies, by the beginnings of 2003 and up until 2011 ebony & ivory was the sole agent in egypt for poltrona frau (italian designer furniture company), edra (italian designer furniture company), alberti cuccine (italian kitchen designer / producer), formanova ( italian office furniture designer / producer), iterby ( italian office furniture designer / producer) and mascagni ( italian office
