ebor academy trust a forward-looking multi-academy trust based in york. it is led by outstanding teachers with a proven track record of excellence locally and across yorkshire. we are making good progress with our plans to establish a series of school hubs in york, selby, the east riding and on the yorkshire coast. we may consider hubs in other areas, too, but it is important to us that all our schools are within reasonable reach. each hub will ultimately comprise around 2,000 pupils, made up of around eight to ten schools. we feel this is the correct number to be effective and to ensure appropriate collaboration between the schools: not too big to be impersonal and not too small so as to not be viable. we want to reassure good schools who are considering joining us that their character and identity, and their place in their local communities, will be maintained. we would help schools to develop through collaboration and through use of our academy specialists, in subjects such as music
