Eco- Discovery Camp

an off-the-grid camp for off-the-grid kids 11-13! a leaders of the day initiative designed to: promote active unplugged time outside, imagining, exploring nature, getting dirty, splashing, swimming, hiking, camping, dancing, journaling, learning & dreaming! eco-discovery camp is our response to the tremendous demand for programs aimed at getting kids outside. we offer exciting and challenging programs for campers aged 11 to 13. committed to quality and safety, leaders of the day’s model of education is based on experiential learning or “learning by doing”. through group activities that help develop leadership skills, teamwork, courage, confidence, respect, and the ability to meet new challenges, campers gain an ever-deepening sense of their own possibilities. eco-discovery camp comprises a tailor-designed curriculum using the outdoor elements available around our spirit point eco-discovery centre combined with a 3 night overnight backpacking expedition on the doorstep of algonquin park
