Eco-Social Conservation

eco-social conservation was founded in 2008 by a team of environmental entrepreneurs and conservation scientists. we develop and promote innovative and evidence-based solutions to address global environmental and social challenges, based on the principle that people and their environment are inextricably linked and mutually dependent. we believe that locally-led initiatives such as eco-social businesses are key to generating sustainable livelihoods and reducing poverty by fostering entrepreneurship, while ensuring valuable natural resources are protected from overexploitation. our flagship project is the development of a research station in tanzania.
