eco urban timber llc was formed in response to a problem looking for a solution posed by the city of eau claire. due to the expected arrival of the emerald ash bore the city is expecting to cull over 40,000 ash trees within the next ten years. eco urban timber llc purchases hardwood logs from the cities of the chippewa valley and local arborist. logs are then transported to our boutique bandsaw mill where we turn the logs into wood slabs that are then kiln dried into lumber to be used internally by eco urban timber for hand crafted designer wood products, sold locally and shipped nationwide. since the volume of ash lumber exceeds the expected short term production needs of eco urban timber llc , lumber is also sold wholesale to local craftspeople and artisans as well as local k-20 art programs
