Eco2flex Project

eco₂flex project aims at reducing the carbon footprint of the cement industry. the ecoflex solution is based on the development of a new product as well as its innovative production process, both reducing co₂ emissions. the final product is an innovative calcium aluminate cement (cac) that will allow a reduction of at least 30% co₂ emissions compared to similar cac available on the market. the eco₂flex project is developed by the calucem group headquartered in mannheim (germany) in collaboration with its production plant in pula (croatia), and the faculty of civil engineering at university of zagreb (croatia). this 3-year project has started on the 1ˢᵗ of august 2020. the project has received support from the european regional development fund under the grant agreement n° [kk.01.2.1.02.0047]. any related description and posts reflect only the views of the project owner.
