Ecoducacion

we are a hands-on learning center based in the cacao forests of guatemala. we redefine our connection with sustainability by introducing it as a way of life with a local heart and a worldwide vision. we offer a cacao research center, natural building school, and permaculture immersions. ecoducation is a vocational school for both international students and local residents. our goal is to create environmental resiliency within guatemala by reigniting ancient practices. we develop programs for farmers that diversify monoculture and create organic, abundant food forests; as well as train the guatemalan building force on how to work with natural materials. through construction and land management, we are reintroducing ancestral techniques to tend to the land in the most respectful way while addressing guatemala’s environmental threats.
