ecofashion is an eco-friendly art house that provides recycling solutions to plastic waste. our mission is to keep waste plastics in the form of useful products in the homes and offices of people instead ending up in the garbage to pollute the environment. over 1.7 million tons of plastic is produced in ghana annually. only 2% is recycled. the rest end up on streets and drainage systems causing annual floods that claim lives and property. over 4 million people have been affected by such flooding in ghana in the past 50 years resulting in economic damages exceeding $780 million. ecofashion is contributing its quota to combating this problem by transforming plastic waste into artwork, craft and accessories. the products are sold to households, office workers and men and women within ages 20 and 45. we currently source the plastic waste from 2 organizations who separate their plastic waste for us to collect for our work. we also have people who drop off plastic waste at our workshop for
