ecofruit was born in 1991 from the union of several sicilian farmers, having cultivated the soil for generations, put together by a remarkable attention to environmental issues, they put together an enterprise for production and sales of integrated production products, a practice of preservation of cultures against the use of pesticides and chemicals that ensure sustainable agriculture. soon after, it fully converted to organic farming. trough the merger made in 2013, ecofruit became the industry leader company in sicily for commercialization of these products; as a matter of facts, the organization of producers operates 5 different implants, associates 450 agricultural producers and farms about 18.5 square kilometers including fields, countryside, greenhouses and tunnels. all the products sold by our company are carefully checked by our agronomists. once harvested, products are sorted, processed, packaged and stored in containers and spaces arranged specifically for organic products
