Ecomaties Sustainability Society

ecomaties is an environmentally conscious society run by students, for students at stellenbosch university. ecomaties is a student society at stellenbosch university that aims to advance sustainable practices on and around campus. the society is voluntarily run by students who are passionate about sustainability and minimising our impact on the environment. ecomaties was set up as a platform for students to get involved and make meaningful changes at the university. we invite any students to join us, either as contributors to existing projects or as leaders of new projects. the activities of ecomaties are divided into education and action, with a variety of projects and events that tackle a broad range of environmental issues. our education projects entail informing students about environmental issues and teaching them how to live a more sustainable student life. our action projects are all about making permanent physical changes that reduce the impact of campus life on the environme
