Economic Development South

economic development south is a non-profit, community development corporation that takes a multi-municipal, corridor-based approach to economic development. eds works collectively across city/county lines and builds consensus around a common interest in the redevelopment of the corridors (most notably: route 51/saw mill run blvd., brownsville road, and streets run road) that serve as our neighborhood commercial areas and as the transportation linkages to the rest of the region. eds is a partnership of the boroughs of brentwood, baldwin, mt. oliver, pleasant hills, jefferson hills, and whitehall; and the city neighborhoods of carrick, brookline, and overbrook. eds also includes representatives from local business organizations, including the brentwood-baldwin-whitehall chamber of commerce and the brentwood business owners association. eds has 4 employees, including executive director gregory jones, and is governed by a board of directors comprised of representatives of our member munici
