the economic growth dc foundation is a non-profit incorporated in the district of columbia. we are organized under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code as a charity focused exclusively on education and workforce development policy research and programming. we are the charitable arm of economic growth dc. the foundation is strictly non-partisan and does not engage in any activities that could be classified as political in nature. contributions to the foundation are fully tax deductible as a charitable gift. the foundation is currently slated to engage in six activities. they are: 1) education policy research and limited education advocacy. 2) an after-school computer programming class in partnership with accenture detailed below. 3) a basic leadership development program for dc public and charter high school students conducted in partnership with the dc leadership development council. 4) the underwriting of and support for expanding debate in dc public schools in partnership w
