the institute has managed federal and state economic development programs over 30 years, provided funding sponsors with a return on investment of 10x to 45x; we have provided business and technical support to 800 small and medium-sized companies, primarily manufacturing and high tech. so far, we have helped create or preserve 52,883 blue and white collar jobs, partner with more than 100 universities around the country, and have worked with 150+ companies launching new technical products leading to 150+ new products in the market, attracting $400+ million of capital and revenue. we have conducted 23 economic development opportunity and best practices research studies, and worked with hundreds of communities to help them revitalize their economies.
