the economy student database system is designed to be a low-cost, no nonsense student records database for schools. having taught in some small schools, i know student data management can be a challenge and costly. as a software developer in years past, i knew that many products have far more options than most schools need, especially small schools, and these schools cannot afford to pay for a bloated product and all the training and support needed to get up and running. it was my intent to write a small product that does the most important processes and to leave out the fluff.
