Econscience "Art of Soundscape"​

"econscience - art of soundscape" is a nonprofit organization born in early 2017 and based in italy. our core team is composed by three young scientists in the field of bio and eco-acoustics and a sound designer with a strong interest in the recording and study of natural soundscapes, linking scientific knowledge and artistic exploration. econscience mission is focused on the spreading of environmental concepts by disseminating knowlegde on terrestrial and marine soundscapes. our main goal is to improve the “ecological conscience", using a mixture of science and art. soundscape is a powerful tool in scientific investigations for environmental monitoring, and listening to natural sounds has an inestimable communicative and cultural value. the organization promotes the conservation and restoration of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, with four main fields of action: dissemination - giving out scientific results to the social communities, with particular interest on soundscape analysis
