Ecookim

created in august 2004, ecookim is the result of the union of several leading cooperatives of ivory coast in the cocoa-coffee-cashew sector. it is present in the main producing regions with the mission of respecting quality to conquer the international market while offering decent revenues for the producers. approved for export since the 2005/2006 campaign and certified fairtrade in november 2010, utz in may 2012 and rainforest since april 2014, ecookim is positioned among the best exporting cooperatives in ivory coast. as such, ecookim and its grassroots cooperatives have more than 243 permanent jobs. ecookim is currently experiencing continuous growth with 30 member cooperatives and 30666 cocoa producers for a surface area of approximately 96,672 hectares of cocoa, and 1472 cashew producers for 9390 hectares.
