ecos is an pan-european umbrella organisation of environmental ngos working to defend the environmental interests in standards and technical environmental policies, primarily in the european union. ecos promotes the protection of the environment in the development of european standards, regulations and labels, especially those prduced to ensure proper implementation of european environmental laws and policies. ecos members include 36 well-respected environmental organisations consisting of 29 national organisations from 20 european countries and 7 european umbrella organisations. for more information, visit our website: www.ecostandard.org
