the ecosens s.r.l. is a young company that deals with tracking solutions in the environmental field. the company is a spin-off of the university of rome "tor vergata". the laboratory of sensors and microsystems, coordinated by prof. arnaldo d'amico and which are part of teachers and researchers department of electrical engineering and computer science chemistry at the university of tor vergata, since the early 90s, is active in research in the field of chemical sensors. the research group was among the first in europe to develop technologies and applications based on artificial sensory systems, which allow to characterize mixtures of gases and liquids, using an approach similar to what the human brain uses to smell and the taste and for the same reason they are known in the search with the name of electronic nose and electronic language. in recent years have been many successful experiments in using these technologies, especially in the fields of analysis and control environment and mo
