Ecostays - Green Hostels

-100% of the energy we use comes from renewable sources.  -all waste is divided, bottles are returned to the manufacturer for reuse, the food is composted on-site (at a safe distance from the hostel) and many other items are recycled - organic ingredients. we prefer local and organic foods, which are produced without harmful pesticides and are labelled as fair trade products -reuse corner, where guests can leave what they no longer need and take whatever they do -we use cradle-to-cradle (c2c) furniture. a production system that minimises waste - most of the hostels are self sustainaible which means the vegetables are grown indoors using hydroponic and aeroponic techniques.
