ecotaras - first waste to energy plant in mumbai. wet waste is picked from societies and hotels and converted to bio gas. the bio gas is used for self sustaining the plant for its captive requirement of energy. with energy or electricity, slurry is also recovered, which is a form of pure organic manure. fertiliser is used in our farms to grow organic vegetables and fruits and we bring it back to the societies at a discount. ecotaras is dedicated towards the cause of swachh bharat abhiyan and works actively to provide services like: waste management by zero waste to land fill concept, promoting circular economy, plastic waste management ,uplifting ragpicker community and women self-help groups.
