ecotourism development centre’s main vision is developing ecotourism in country, as key element of sustainable tourism development and regarding this issue raise awareness of georgian population; rational usage of a variety of ecosystems in georgia, agriculture and cultural heritage, as tourism resources and getting economic benefits for the local community. the main objectives are: • to support the development and promotion of ecotourism; • rational use of tourism resources by the principles of sustainable tourism;• raising awareness of ecologic, as well as tourism terms in local communities; • improve economic situation of local communities in georgia; • protection and promotion of nature, cultural heritage, traditions and folklore of georgian regions; • provision with information georgian and international society about ecotourist and related resources in georgia. • encourage youth to travel in nature and arranging educational projects.
