we were born with the aim of protecting the origin and the ancestral knowledge of ecuadorian artisans. we know the reality of ecuadorian rurality, and the importance of developing a sustainable, environment-friendly trade that guarantees the future of new generations. in 2012, after 7 years of foundation, we began to work on our reforestation program of bursera graveolens "palo santo”, with the proposal of restoration of the tropical dry forests of the province of manabí, habitat of this sacred tree. from 2015 to the present date, we have planted more than 10,000 palosanto trees, conducting scientific studies in conjunction with the technical university of manabi (utm), which allows us to learn more about bursera's graveolens: the composition of the forest, stored carbon (co2), monitoring the development of trees, etc. this information will permit us the sustainable use of the palo santo "holy wood". we hope to have 4 scientific articles published by the end of 2020. 1. influence of
