Edconnect Initiative

edconnect initiative is a youth-run nonprofit organization (npo) that seeks to identify, empower and connect students to scholarships and top institutions in south africa. we operate to enhance access to quality education via our edconnect scholars programme (esp) and meaningful development opportunities through our edconnect resource bank (erb). as an npo, we recognize the financial burden of accessing quality education and development opportunities especially for socio-economically disadvantaged youth in south africa. we live to bridge this gap as we envision a conscious and socio-economically empowered south african youth through access to quality education and meaningful development opportunities. we have been in our research and development stages for the past two years. during our pilot phase, enke: make your mark foundation recognized edconnect as a project creating positive social-impact 2015. in 2016, our npo was one of five recipient of the nafasi lab ventures incubation fell
