community radio established july 2010, founder lee quinn, is still the managing director/chairman who as a volunteer leads a team of locally and uk based volunteer presenters, many multi skilled. eden fm is one of over 300 uk community radio stations and one of many not covered by rajar listening logs/figures as the area it operates in is part of a commercial or bbc operating region, it does not cover the whole of it. an investment made in a community radio is an investment in the community. it has no shareholders, no one can own a community radio, eden fm a not for profit limited company as part of its ofcom licence, it is self funded, with restrictions on it's commercial revenue whilst operating 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. it is a community asset run by the community for the community with an open door policy accessible to all.
