edg consulting is a privately owned australian company providing design, engineering, advice and geosciences services for a range of market sectors. our three founding directors and principals, garth powell, ian shipway and greg hackney, all former senior principals with coffey, have a combined 100+ years of experience in the engineering industry. in our 18 months of operation, we have grown to a staff of 12. our company philosophy is to have an engaged group of like-minded people undertaking excellent engineering in a collegiate atmosphere. our intention is to spread ownership in the business widely amongst employees to engage our people to deliver the best outcomes and solutions for clients. we have a social conscience and aim to contribute to both charities and the engineering industry. we will use our experience in design and construction to understand your objectives and needs, and then will work with you to develop practical and cost effective designs that meet your requirements.
