Edge Data Centers

edge data centers will build and operate a state-of-the-art, multi- tier, carrier-neutral, colocation center in gatineau. edge has developed a highly modular data center design which allows a phased build-out in sync with demand. the gatineau site has the capacity to expand to a total of 9 megawatts of it load. edge will use the gatineau data center to develop ai-based data center management tools that will allow it to remotely manage, from the network operations center (noc) in gatineau, multiple edge data centers. with this capability, edge will replicate the same model of intermediate-sized (2 to 10 megawatts) colocation centers in various secondary markets in order to support the growing number of « edge computing » applications.
