the edible peace patch project is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization whose mission is to eliminate poverty as a factor in educational success and diet-related health issues. to accomplish this mission we are building a model farm to school food system that will provide educational support and training and offer food literacy while delivery fresh locally grown food to school cafeterias. we currently operate six schoolyard gardens in south st petersburg, florida including campbell park elementary, fairmount park elementary, lakewood elementary, maximo elementary, melrose elementary, sanderlin ib world school, and we have aided in the maintenance of the john hopkins middle school garden.
