at edible peace, we create delicious vegan macnut cream cheese, greek-style macnut yogurt, and greek-style tzatziki made in hawai’i from 100% hawai’i-grown ingredients. modern science, a balanced diet, and kindness complement one another. thus, we contribute to changing hawai’i’s food industry's standard of importing 85% of products, which is disastrous to our fragile ecosystems locally and globally. one critical aspect of edible peace® is raising awareness about our diets in the 21st century. if we continue to eat as we did in the 20th century, we will be destroying our planet very quickly. thus, we must adapt to what's adequate for our day and age, season, and region, just like our ancestors did. since we live on an island that can grow an abundance of food year-round, we want to inspire our community to eliminate imported animal products from our diets because they come with heavy co2 and methane baggage. additionally, we encourage substituting imported fruits and veggies with loc
