Edinboro Community and Economic Development

a. to promote the historic preservation, protection and use of edinboro’s traditional downtown and neighborhood, including the residences and commercial, civic and religious enterprises of those areas. b. to lessen the burden on the borough of edinboro by taking remedial actions to eliminate the physical, economic and social deterioration of the downtown district and other neighborhoods and thereby promote the area’s historic and architectural character, and contribute to the betterment of the community. c. to work to enhance the quality of life of edinboro through the implementation of activities that assist local governments in the reduction of crime and improvement in code enforcement within the traditional downtown and neighborhoods. d. to further enhance the quality of life for edinboro residents by supporting the development and improvement of parks and other public spaces. e. to disseminate information about, and promote interest in, the preservation of the history, culture, arc
