Edinburgh Sustainable Innovation Conference

the edinburgh sustainable innovation conference, esic, is a full-day conference on the 23rd of march at mcewan hall. the conference is organised by the buchanan institute, a student-led think tank, dedicated to turning ideas into action. the buchanan institute has the belief that climate change should be at the top of our agenda and that the next generation is in an extraordinary position to drive this forward. esic aims to accelerate scotland's transition to a carbon-free country by: 1) engaging and inspiring a much wider group of individuals, in particular the next generation. given the chance, we can inject new momentum into this transition. 2) cut across social, sectoral and disciplinary boundaries to increase the collaboration needed to achieve scotland's climate targets. 3) creating an environment for solution-based discussion to flourish whilst laying down the foundations for these ideas to turn into reality - ensuring there are opportunities to get involved and make a
