español editorial concreta es una organización sobre creación y teoría de la imagen que publica una revista semestral y una serie de libros de artista. el objetivo de estas publicaciones es contribuir a elaborar un marco teórico de investigación, dentro y fuera de la academia, en torno a la imagen, con especial interés en la imagen fotográfica y en la historia del arte, pero con base en todas las disciplinas del saber que piensan la imagen como punto de fricción y desasosiego, como estructura de sentido y como campo dialéctico de fuerzas. english editorial concreta is a spanish organisation on image creation and art theory that publishes a twice-yearly journal and a series of artists’ books. the specific aim of these publications is to help elaborate a theoretical frame for research into the image —inside and outside academia— with a special focus on the photographic image and art history, yet grounded in all the disciplines of knowledge that understand the image as a place of friction
