at present, edlab is in the form of a university library project that provides staff with a digital environment to experiment with new education methods. the project is now being expanded into a full-scale institute. the aim is for edlab to become a meeting place for staff and students interested in developing education and educational innovation at um. in late 2014 edlab will move to the grounds of the tapijn barracks. as director of the edl@b, i currently direct a small team of educationalists managing small scale educational projects all with an innovative (ict) element, in all these projects we work closely together with teaching staff, students and businesses.in this position i am responsible for the set-up of edl@b and ensuring a sustainable position within um (library). i manage business contacts as well as internal contacts and direct a small team of educationalists (sub-project-leaders). visit our website for more information or join one of our sessions! edl@b is an 'edu
