edmonton meals on wheels has an excellent reputation for providing quality service to edmontonians. as a non-profit, registered charitable organization, we utilize creative & customer focused strategies and activities to enhance our meal services and programs while engaging the community in our events, partnerships and volunteer opportunities. our hot meal delivery program remains the most substantial component of our client services – providing 1, 2 & 3 meal packages right to the door of seniors and housebound residents. wherever possible, we accommodate client preferences and diets. other programs include the heat n’ eat frozen meal program (including vegetarian, gluten and lactose free and halal meals), heat n’ eat outlets throughout the city, the pet meals program, nutrition and cooking for 1 or 2 workshops and the grocery bag™ – a grocery delivery service. today, over 400 volunteers donate in excess of 67,000 hours while helping to prepare, package and deliver thousands of meals a
