Edmonton Ski Club

the edmonton ski club is a haven for skiers and snowboarders located in the heart of edmonton, directly across the river valley from downtown edmonton, alberta. this non-for-profit ski area provides learn to ski and snowboard programs for people of all ages and abilities including popular ski camps, drop in programs, private and group lessons. the edmonton ski club has been open since 1911. for over 100 years the esc has provided edmontonians with winter recreation, family fun, and a training ground for professional athletes. there is a new master development plan in place and the esc hopes to expand. esc vision & master plan: the combination of increased valley accessibility with the new lrt development plans, high density residential development in the city’s core, and exploding demand for year-round recreational amenities has created an extraordinary opportunity for the redevelopment of the edmonton ski club as an all-season, multipurpose hub for downtown cultural, recreational, and
