Edu-Futuro

in 1998, edu-futuro was founded by immigrant parent leaders in partnership with arlington public schools in response to the need for academic enrichment and leadership development services for low-income immigrant youth and families. in the past two decades, edu-futuro has grown to become a multicultural community organization providing education services to a diverse group of more than one thousand children, youth, and families annually in northern virginia. to help address the disparities facing immigrant youth and families across our region, edu-futuro offers life-changing programs that empower under-resourced youth and families through our education, leadership development, and after-school enrichment initiatives. edu-futuro’s core programs focus on education as the most important tool for advancing socioeconomic mobility among latino and immigrant families.
