Educate for Opportunity Institute

educate for opportunity (efo) partners with marginalized and vulnerable people in their quest for education, freedom, empowerment and dignity by mobilizing human, academic, intellectual and financial resources to meet the needs of the educationally disadvantaged. we provide training, consultation and technical assistance in formal and informal educational initiatives around the world. we believe in partnering with organizations around the world that share our philosophy and commitment to our essential pillars of programming. partnering allows us to accomplish greater work, establish accountability, strengthen our voice, and access/share additional resources and expertise. we take the time to understand how individuals and communities view their worlds, how they perceive outside change agents, and how local community members work together to build autonomy. we believe that women and children need advocates—people who care about them and are willing to speak out and work on their behalf.
